Barrie, ON – On July 21, 2005, Sutton employees launched the 3rd Annual Sutton Group – Incentive Charity Golf Tournament.   They raised $3,300 for the Royal Victoria Regional Cancer Care Unit and the Women’s and Children’s Shelter in Barrie.   The day was a huge success with over 70 local golfers participating in the charity golf event as well as local sponsors who were supporting their community by generously donating to the event.

The day was filled with special events, prizes, great weather and a lot of fun for the local community who came out to cheer on the event.   The Sutton Group in Barrie created an environment where people in the community had a great time collectively fundraising for the RHV Cancer Care Unit and Women’s and Children’s Shelter.   Through the proceeds raised by the Sutton Group and supporters, there will be more funds to cover the costs of supplies and equipment at the Cancer Care Unit.   The Women’s and Children’s Shelter will be able to purchase new beds, clothes and food to meet the needs of the many women, mothers and children who require a safe and welcoming shelter.
