Burlington, ON – Debra Denike of Sutton Group – Realty Systems Inc. in Ontario has once again used her business savvy to assist families in need. Through the Salvation Army’s “Great Pumpkin Giveaway” event, Debra handed out pumpkins in time for Halloween to her community and clients, single-handedly raising over $2000 for the Salvation Army Family Services group.

“We truly appreciate the initiative and creativity of Debra Denike in holding the second “Great Pumpkin Giveaway,’” says Esther Clark, Intake and Program Development Worker of the Burlington Salvation Army Community. “She certainly did collect more this year! We extend our heartfelt thanks to Debra and the other participants for caring about those in the community of  Burlington who are in need of a hand up. It is due to the generosity of people in Burlington that we are able to fulfill our mission.”

This was Debra’s second year dedicating a part of her busy fall season as a realtor to this worthy cause. The funds raised will be used by the food bank to fill Christmas food boxes, which will be delivered to families during the holidays.
