Sutton Broker Elected President of Lethbridge Real Estate Board

Lethbridge, AB - Audrey King, Broker at Sutton Group Lethbridge, was recently elected President of the Lethbridge Real Estate Board. Since opening a Sutton Group branch 16 years ago with three staff members, Audrey’s office has completed thousands of home sales for satisfied customers-growing into one of the largest real estate offices in Southern Alberta. Audrey will now lend her expertise as President of the Lethbridge Board, working with 300 agents in urban and rural offices.

“My goal is to be fair, to continue improving our avenues of communication at the broker and agent levels, to get our members more involved in a professional and co-operative manner, and to face any challenges to the best of my ability,” says Audrey. “June 2006 marks the fiftieth anniversary of The Lethbridge Real Estate Board and it’s a real pleasure to represent the membership as their president during this exciting time.” Some of her goals are to implement a new agent’s program in the fall and expand on the Quality of Life program which they adopted in 2004. The Board will also continue to lead the community by hosting events such as the Annual Partners Against Crime Golf Tournament in support of the Lethbridge and Southern Alberta Crime Stoppers. Over the past six years, the Board has raised more than $100,000 for Crime Stoppers.

Audrey King grew up on a cattle range near Pavan Park and attended the University of Lethbridge, where she still associates with the management faculty. She is also a member of The Rotary Club of Lethbridge, which organized the Lethbridge Dragon Boat Festival. This active business and community leader is also a proud mother of two and a grandmother of four.
