London, ON - At Sutton Group – Select Realty Inc.’s first office meeting of 2006, sales associate Jan Lesser was presented with the 6th Annual Michele Montour Award for Excellence in Real Estate. Lesser was selected from more than 100 of her colleagues in recognition of her professional and personal attributes.

The Michele Montour Award for Excellence in Real Estate was established by Broker Bruce Sworik in memory of Michele Montour, a young, energetic sales associate who lost her battle with cancer in July 2000. Michele was known to touch many lives and inspire others to overcome obstacles in their personal and business lives. The Award recipients must possess a positive, cheerful, and enthusiastic attitude, participate in Continuing Education and Personal Improvement Courses, display teamwork through active participation in corporate events and causes, and be undaunted by obstacles. The Award is bestowed annually by Sutton Group – Select to ensure that the gifts and spirit of Michele Montour will continue to live on through its agents.
