Ottawa, ON – REALTORS® of Sutton Group – Premier Realty (2008) Ltd.* took time out to support Otter Lodge #504, a Masonic Lodge in Lombardy, Ontario. On June 27th, 2009, the group took to the links at Lombard Glen Golf and Country Club for the Lodge’s fundraising event. Proceeds raised from the tournament were given to several outreach programs within their community. These programs include Rideau Lakes Day Camps, the Canadian Diabetes Association’s Camp Banting, and the Salvation Army Christmas Appeal.

Lorne Sheridan and Marian Clark, REALTORS® with Sutton Group – Premier Realty (2008) Ltd.*, are members of Otter Lodge #504. Lorne explains, “My dad was a life-long member, and after he passed away I wanted to continue his work with the Lodge.” He adds, “It is rewarding to have the chance to give back to the community.”

Alana Abraham, Executive Director of Operations of Sutton Group – Premier Realty (2008) Ltd.*, and her sister Karen Derouin, teamed up, with Lorne and Marian for the round of golf. Donald Abraham, President of the company, joined them for the dinner reception. Sutton shirts, hats and monogrammed golf balls were in abundance on the prize tables at the reception.

Chaired by Lodge member Tom DeLong, this is the second year for the tournament. Tom was delighted with this year’s turnout of golfers and the support they received from local businesses. “The enthusiasm is overwhelming,” says Tom. “The support from companies like Sutton and eager golfers allows us to continue to support these programs,” he suggests.
