London, ON – Sutton Group – Select Realty Inc.* has tirelessly organized an annual charity golf tournament for the past seventeen years and have raised much needed funds for a variety of charitable organizations in the community. This year’s proceeds benefited The Salvation Army – Ontario Great Lakes Division. The group chose this charity because REALTOR® Paula Hodgson is actively involved with the organization. Paula also chaired the committee of 10 who planned this year’s golf tournament.

The tournament entry fees, silent auction, sale of raffle tickets, 50/50 draw tickets, mulligans and used golf balls in egg cartons, collected by Sutton REALTORS®, all contributed to the grand total that Sutton Group – Select Realty Inc.* raised. This year, the tournament raised an impressive $8,046.64. This amount is enough to purchase 8,000 hot lunches for those in need through the Salvation Army.

The golf tournament was held at Llyndshire Golf & Country Club on September 11, 2009. Patricia Greasley, Marketing/Advertising Coordinator for Sutton Group – Select Realty Inc.*, describes the event as a success. “In return for their goodwill, members of the Sutton Group – Select Realty Inc.* team, together with their clients, friends and related business associates, enjoyed a wonderful day of golf, delicious food and prizes – everyone went home a winner,” she explains.
