St. Albert, AB – James Mabey, Broker with Sutton Group – Nor-Vista Realty, was named “Top 40 Under 40″ in the November issue of Avenue Magazine, Edmonton’s only glossy magazine. “We seek to honour the brightest and most talented individuals under the age of 40 who are excelling in their careers, giving back to the community and raising the city’s profile,” describes the publication.

The article, focused on James, discusses his dedication and advocacy for many community causes. He is Vice Chair of the Board of Directors with HIV Edmonton. In this role, James assists the Executive Director with setting out the vision and overseeing governance of operations for the organization. James also volunteers with Habitat for Humanity, and supports the arts and culture of the city through work with the Edmonton Fringe Festival. The article also touches on his real estate career as a Broker. James leads a team of 28 agents helping them meet their sales targets and facilitating best practices while maintaining consistent sales.

The “Top 40 Under 40″ were honoured on Oct 29, 2009 at a reception hosted by the magazine. James explains, “It is a bit overwhelming, as I do not think of myself like this, but it is a good feeling to take this opportunity to reflect on what I have accomplished.” James adds, “It is really a testament to those people who have supported me over the years.”
