London, ON – The tally is in and Sutton Group – Select Realty Inc.* is pleased to report that their annual golf tournament provided $8,110 to the London Regional Children’s Museum.  During the past 18 years of the Sutton – Select Charity Golf Tournament, they have raised an impressive $95,000 for local organizations!  This year’s event attracted 100 players and took place at the Llyndinshire Golf and Country Club.  The loyalty of the players and the hard work of the golf committee together make it all possible.

Throughout the year, REALTORS® and staff keep the tournament close to their hearts.  The golf committee, chaired by Jim Smith, together with Bruce Sworik, Broker of Record, spent six months diligently planning the event.  Fundraising was accomplished through auctions, raffle tickets and the generosity of corporate sponsors.  This year, the Sutton – Select Charity Golf Tournament raised an impressive $8,110.

“In return for their goodwill, members of the Sutton Group – Select Realty, Inc.* team, together with their clients, friends, and associates enjoyed a wonderful day of golf, delicious food and prizes—everyone went home a winner,” says Bruce.  “This level of contributions from a single office is considerable and to be commended.”

The London Regional Children’s Museum was selected as charitable recipient due to its outstanding programs.  The museum has exhibits filled with hands-on activities and interactive elements that engage and educate visitors from infancy to 12-years-old along with their parents and teachers.  They can enjoy exhibits such as “Things in Caves” where children can spelunk to discover cave creatures, art and crystals; “Dinosaurs”; “Jelly Fish Junction, and the latest exhibit: “My Arctic Discovery”.
