Sherwood Park, AB - Sutton associates from Sutton - Premiere Real Estate are entering their second year as proud contributors to the "Supporting Our Youth" program. In the last year, the office has donated $300 to each of eleven children who then enjoyed summer camp for two weeks. Furthermore, the dedicated Sutton associates provided financial assistance to five additional children who needed help with their youth and community program registration fees or even paying for a pair of hockey skates. The remaining funds helped three families celebrate a magical Christmas, filled with presents and joy.

"Supporting Our Youth" originated in Spruce Grove in 1994 and has helped over 300 youth since its inception. Sutton - Premiere sales associates developed a clever and easy way to contribute to youth in need by pledging $25 from the commission of each sale towards the collection. The money is then put into a fund and distributed among the children. Children apply through their organizations and schools and each application is reviewed and considered by the Sutton - Premiere associates. "We are looking forward to our second spring when we will receive even more applications and be able to help more children", remarks Shelagh Brennan, broker of Sutton - Premiere Real Estate.

Moreover, Sutton - Premiere raised extra funds for children in need of financial assistance through a Hot Dog Sale. The office is also organizing a Charity Golf Tournament which will take place in June. "Our mission is to provide opportunities for economically disadvantaged youth in our communities of Sherwood Park and the County of Strathcona", reveals Shelagh Brennan.
