"It's nice to get out and do something good and fun for the community. The Big Bike is very visual in that it can hold 29 people at once and those whom we passed by on the street would honk and wave and smile…" shared Sean. While the Big Bike is a fantastic vehicle for fundraising, it is not recommended that you drive it for your day to day errands as its top speed is only about 10 miles per hour.
The Big Bike for Stroke is an event held every year by the Heart and Stroke Foundation in their efforts to raise money for research on the causes behind heart diseases and stroke. Each team is responsible for raising donations from friends and family in order to get a chance to ride on the man-powered bike that is the size of a school bus. Sean and Dave decided to organize their office's participation for this event in order to build commitment and cohesion among sales representatives and staff.
In the past, sales representatives of Sutton Group - West Coast Realty in White Rock have also volunteered their time and effort for their community through programs such as Our Missing Children with the local RCMP by making child identification kits and taking finger prints.
