A Sweet Food Bank Raffle
Oakville, ON – Sutton Group - Quantum Realty Inc. raffled a delectable chocolate house and raised $500 for local food banks just in time for Christmas. With this gift, the charities could use their extra purchasing power to provide healthy, satisfying meals to 100 people in need.
The chocolate house was crafted with pounds of confection and featured a miniature company sign on the snowy, coconut lawn and a Santa Claus ready to shimmy down the chimney. This edible artwork was created by a talented REALTOR® from this office, who no doubt felt the sweet reward of his or her anonymous gift.
In addition to the chocolate house raffle, the team dropped off non-perishable food at the luncheon. Afterward, volunteers delivered the money and items to food bank staff, who were moved by the generous donations.

Tina is happy to report that many of their sales associates also opt to contribute a portion of their commissions to charity through a program administered by the office. Other agents run their own fundraisers or make donations to charities of their choice.
Looking forward, Tina can’t say for sure if another chocolate house will be up for raffle next year, but helping their community will always be a priority. In fact, this winter, she plans to make an office donation to the Coldest Night of the Year, a fundraiser to assist people experiencing homelessness.
