Getting Crazy at Bowl for Kids’ Sake
Chilliwack, B.C. – On March 2, 2020, Sutton Group Showplace Realty participated in their fourth Bowl for Kids’ Sake, which benefits Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Fraser Valley. The theme this year was 50 Years of Canucks.
A total of eight Chilliwack businesses bowled and together they raised $7,000 through entry fees and donations. This Bowl for Kids’ Sake was a playful event with wacky outfits and ‘crazybowl’ rules that had players lobbing bowling balls through teammates’ legs, while holding hands, with their eyes closed, and more!
“For myself, the highlight was the ‘crazybowl’ round because we had to work together,” says Amber Siemens, Office Administrator. “Some of us even got strikes doing those crazy stunts. It just made us all laugh so hard. It was a lot of fun.”
The Sutton Stars team from Sutton Group Showplace Realty included Kim Parley, Tibor Bogdan, Billie-Jo Thiessen, Crystal De Jager, Amber Siemens, and Shane Chisholm.
REALTOR® Crystal De Jager, a regular participant in this charitable event, especially enjoyed the ‘crazybowl’ after a normal practice round saying, “Great team camaraderie! YAY Sutton Stars!”
REALTOR® Billie-Jo Thiessen enjoyed the unique challenges and seeing everyone dressed up in costumes. The Best Dressed prize happened to be won by their very own Amber Siemens.
