CANADA – Now’s the time to volunteer, donate, plan spring and summer projects, and even roll up your sleeves and get cooking—then share your news with Sutton Spirit to be automatically entered into our prize draw. If you are looking for inspiration, contact your favourite charity. Most are in need of sponsors and participants for fun events including the SPCA’s national Treat Week in February; just register to bake (or buy) treats to sell to coworkers and friends with all proceeds helping abandoned and mistreated animals.

Another event in support of animals is the Charity Golf Tournament for the Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre. This year marks the seventh year of the tournament, which is scheduled to take place at the Garrison Golf & Curling Club in Kingston on June 19. To register or become a sponsor, email Rhonda Grant and Brandon Grant: golf@yourgrantteam.com.

In May, Hike for Hospice takes place across Canada. Among the dedicated hikers are individuals from Sutton Group – West Coast Realty in White Rock, and Sutton - West Realty Inc.* in Toronto. They invite others to join them, or support their efforts.

With warmer weather right around the corner, now is the time sign up, or host your own charitable baseball tournament, barbeque, outdoor movie night, food drive, etc.

Contact us to write your story for you free of charge and you will be entered to win $100 in our Sutton Spirit draw.

Please send a few details to stories@suttonspirit.com and our writer will follow up to gather comments and photographs. You will have the opportunity to review your story before it is published. The entire process can take as little as 15 minutes of your time.

Your story will be sent to the local media and the Sutton community. We will also feature your story in our Referral Directory, which is delivered to more than 200 offices across Canada, and on www.suttonspirit.com.

In addition to making a real, personal difference, community involvement can raise your business profile in a meaningful way. Some of the individuals and offices featured on Sutton Spirit have told us that clients and REALTORS® have contacted them specifically because of our stories highlighting their projects. Others have reported that the coverage helped to increase event participation or boost donations.

Sutton is a 100% Canadian-owned and operated company with more than 7,000 REALTORS® in over 200 offices nationwide. To find out more about Sutton, visit www.sutton.com. To learn more about Sutton Spirit, visit www.suttonspirit.com.
