Community Networking: Southern Ontario

ON – Would you like to share your business expertise by serving as a Treasurer or Board Director? In the spotlight this week are some of the many charities and non-profit organizations urgently in need of assistance in southern Ontario.   

The Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo & Stratford Perth requires foster care for animals awaiting adoption, and occasionally for pets whose families who have been temporarily displaced from their homes by fire or flood. ReForest London gives away young trees to homeowners, provides information about invasive species, and is undertaking a significant new project: the creation of the city’s first Environment and Sustainability Centre. Habitat for Humanity Heartland Ontario currently needs volunteers of all ages and abilities for building projects, ReStore, and other roles such as running special events, providing videography services, and more. Visit https://habitat4home.ca/get-involved-new.
