30 Years of Better Days
Surrey, B.C. – In 1992, cell phones were the size of a brick, people didn’t text, the internet was just getting started, Michael Keaton starred as Batman, the Endeavour space shuttle made its maiden voyage, the collapsed Soviet Union was renamed the Russian Federation, and Bruce Springsteen sang about Better Days. It was also the year that John Panrucker joined Sutton.
Congratulations to John on 30 years of successfully representing Sutton and for his numerous professional and community contributions!
John came to Sutton with an extensive marketing, development, and sales background from BC Tel. His experience in negotiating on behalf of BC Tel has provided much needed expertise in negotiating real estate transactions with developers and investors. He has focused his activities on residential properties with particular emphasis on land development in and around Greater Vancouver.
As John gained experience as a REALTOR® and established his business, he continued to foster his professional growth. He served as a Divisional Director for BNT of the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver. In this role, he took on the responsibility of representing the interests of 14,000 REALTORS® who live and work in communities from Whistler to Maple Ridge to Tsawwassen and everywhere in between.
To give back to his neighbours, John served as a Member and Director of the Coquitlam Chamber of Commerce and volunteered with the Rotary Club Coquitlam Sunrise.
Putting his business expertise to work for charitable efforts, he has worked closely with the New View Society. This multi-service agency supports people with mental health challenges who need housing in the Tri-City area.
John and the team at the Home-Pros were chosen to evaluate New View Society’s property portfolio and serve as their real estate professionals to help the society achieve their vision. Joining John in this project were his Home-Pros colleagues Shawn Shakibaei and Carollyne Grondzill.
