Tournament Raises $216,000 for Cardiac Care
Ottawa, ON – The 2nd Annual Wilbert Keon Memorial Golf Tournament took place on July 10, 2023. The event raised a record of nearly $216,000 attracting 180 golfers on two courses, as well as numerous corporate sponsors, donors and volunteers. Colin Zappia, a Sutton Broker, volunteered as chair of the tournament committee.

Pickleball Raises $30,500 for Heart Institute
Ottawa, ON – Daniel Alfredsson, the former Ottawa Senators captain, and Hockey Hall of Fame member, was a special guest at the inaugural Ottawa Pickleball Classic on June 10, 2023. Approximately 100 players helped to raise $30,500 for world-class cardiac care and research at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute.

Tournament to Fund Critical Care for Wildlife
Kingston, ON – The Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre is currently caring for a springtime deluge of orphaned baby rabbits, fawns, chicks, turtles, and other high-need youngsters along hundreds of injured animals. The centre relies entirely on donations and fundraising including a special annual event to feed and care for the animals.
